Configure store features
Use Store Configuration to manage the active store, default market, language, subscriptions, CMS, and project-level Custom Code.
Check the active store
When the Demo Store is active, you can keep designing with sample data or connect a real Shopify store. Connecting a real store requires a Shopiframe account and one unused Store Credit.
When a real store is connected, verify that the displayed .myshopify.com domain is the store you intend to use before syncing products.
Set the default market and language
Use Default Market to choose the initial country and currency. Market components can then let visitors switch to another enabled market.
Configure the available markets in Shopify first. Shopiframe reads that list when the store is connected.
Use Language Code for localized Shopify requests. Match it to the primary language of the Framer site unless the storefront intentionally uses another locale.
Enable subscriptions
Enable Selling plans (Subscription) only when:
Products in Shopify have selling plans.
The Headless storefront token has permission to read selling plans.
You intend to use Shopiframe’s Subscription component.
Shopiframe checks the permission when you enable the setting. If the check fails, return to Shopify Headless, update the Storefront API permissions, save them, and try again.
Manage the Products CMS
The CMS card opens the Shopiframe-managed collection. Use it whenever you need to:
Sync new or changed Shopify products.
Change which Shopify fields are imported.
Add additional product image fields.
Add your own editable CMS fields.
Import Shopify product metafields.
Understand Custom Code
Shopiframe installs project-level Custom Code after connecting a store and whenever important store settings change. The code makes the active store, market, language, and feature permissions available to Shopiframe components in Preview and on the published site.
If Framer blocks the installation, Shopiframe keeps the store connection but warns that Custom Code could not be installed. Check your project permissions, reopen the plugin, and run the setup check again.
Switch or disconnect a store
Only the store owner can disconnect a real store. After disconnection, the project returns to the Demo Store.
After switching or disconnecting, sync the Products CMS again so it matches the active store.
